The following is the application to be part of the SAGE, or Sustainable Agriculture Entrepreneur, farmer-training-program. This is a year long program in which you will learn how to grow and sell local and sustainably produced food. All SAGE produce is grown on the SAGE MicroFarm on the West Side of Charleston.

Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Thursday, January 22nd.

I understand that if I am selected as a SAGE participant, I will be committing myself to at least a two hour commitment per month for workshop related activities.  I understand these workshops are typically held on weekdays post business hours or weekend mornings.  Additionally, during the growing and market season (May-August), I understand that my SAGE involvement will be an average of 20-25 hours per month.  This commitment includes at least one Saturday per month. *
I understand that participation in SAGE requires a $175 participation fee and that upon successfully completion of all SAGE workshops, I will receive $75 back to reinvestment back into my agribusiness.
