How do new managers make the transition from being “part of the team” to “leading the team”? 

Join the Charleston Area Alliance and The Performance Group for a one-day session that will help improve YOUR management skills.

During this one-day class you will be introduce to a variety of management skills and tools that will help you develop a new perspective, become a more effective leader and most of all…get better results.

Management 101 - Fundamental of Leadership will be held on July 8 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Charleston Area Alliance.

It will be presented by Chuck Stump of The Performance Group. Stump has given over 1,500 seminars in the areas of leadership, coaching, communication, client care, and change management.  His trainings draw from over twenty-eight years of hard-learned life lessons and creative ideas to help people change not only the way they think, but also the way they act

Registration is limited to the first 20 people that sign-up.

Session One – Facts and Friction – Behavioral Styles and Team Dynamics

  • Study leaders from the past and learn what habits made them effective

Session Four – Do it NOW! - The Power of Goals and Time Management
 
  • Overcome procrastination to create momentum and better results
  • Understand where time goes and why we feel so bad when we don’t use it properly
  • Learn how to delegate so you can multiply your efforts.

Session Five – Coaching – Helping Others Reach their Potential
 
  • Discover the characteristics that will make you a great coach
  • Learn why employees want coaching and feedback on a regular basis
  • Master a proven model that will allow you to coach without causing resentment

Session Six – Synergy – Keys to Managing Change
 
  • Learn first-hand how groups function in the face of change
  • Learn the importance of “ownership” in the change process;
  • Witness the key behaviors that turn “change” into a positive experience
